The apartment is located on one of the most famous streets of the historic center of Berlin, Friedrichstraße and the Spreeufer. In 2014, a new building with a broad usage concept was constructed here.

"Looking out of the window of this city apartment, I look into the crown of a big chestnut tree - the favorite tree of the residents of this apartment" The idea was to create a bright and elegant interior. The special feature of the design is the large mirror in the sleeping area, which reflects the view from the window of the living area to look outside. The joinery furniture I designed individually for the apartment , such as the large bench in the entrance area and the bedside tables, was made of chestnut wood. For the living area we chose a warm and natural grey-brown color for the sleeping area a sky blue. The composition of the colors, materials and furniture create a balance in harmony with nature and make an apartment to feel good.
